How it works

Configured where it can be. Built where it must be.

The old way to get software for a small business was to hire someone to build it, wait months, and own something nobody else understood. The new way is worse: sign up for a dozen tools that almost fit. This is a third way. Where a ready-made agent fits, it is configured and live in days. Where the work is yours alone, the application is built around it on the same foundations. One method runs all three levels.

The three steps

  1. 01

    Map

A 60-minute session that produces your opportunity map: the three workflows most worth automating, what each costs you today, and what a worker would save.

    • You describe the business. I ask the questions I would ask on site.
    • You leave with a written opportunity map, whether or not we work together.
  2. 02

    Configure or build

Ready-made agents and configured systems start from the shared codebase, which is why they go live fast. Purpose-built applications are built around your business on the same foundations.

    • I connect the worker to your systems, load your rules, and run it in shadow mode for a week: it drafts, you approve.
    • Nothing goes out under your name until you have seen it get it right.
  3. 03

    Run

Deployed, monitored, and handed over with a runbook you own. You can turn it off. You can take it with you.

    • It runs. I watch it. You get a brief every week and a phone call if anything looks wrong.
    • Month to month. The off switch is yours.

Under every worker and archetype

A governed loop, not a black box.

The system connects understanding with action and records sources, permissions, approvals and results at every step, so you can trust the workflow and improve it.

The loop every archetype runs. Professional judgment stays responsible for consequential decisions.
  1. 01

    Understand

Read the request, documents and operating context.

  2. 02

    Evaluate

Apply rules, retrieve evidence and compare options.

  3. 03

    Recommend

Explain the proposed action and its uncertainty.

  4. 04

    Execute

Act through approved tools and human authority.

  5. 05

    Learn

Compare the expected result with what happened.

The system can

  • Organize evidence
  • Prepare recommendations
  • Execute approved routine actions
  • Record sources and results
  • Escalate uncertainty

People retain

  • Business accountability
  • Professional judgment
  • Sensitive approvals
  • Policy and risk ownership
  • Final acceptance

Access controls, audit history, evaluation and recovery belong in the product from the beginning.

For larger engagements

Scale follows evidence.

When the work is one of the five archetypes rather than a single worker, the first engagement stays narrow enough to measure and useful enough to matter.

  1. 01

    Discovery

Map the workflow, users, systems and cost of the current problem.

  2. 02

    Design

Define authority, data boundaries, integrations and success measures.

  3. 03

    Pilot

Build one complete workflow with real review and controlled access.

  4. 04

    Proof

Compare baseline and pilot results before deciding whether to scale.

Trust, in writing

What I will not do.

This list does more for trust than any credential, so it is on the page.

  • 01Scrape your customers' data into a training set.
  • 02Ship black-box automation you can't turn off or inspect.
  • 03Lock you into month-to-month dependence on me. You own the deployment and the runbook.
  • 04Promise a number I haven't measured in your business first.
  • 05Automate a workflow that isn't worth automating yet. The map will say so.

What you own

Everything with your name on it.

The configuration that makes the worker yours: your questions, your price book, your tone, your escalation rules. Written down in files you can open.

The runbook: how to turn it off, how to change a rule, who to call, what it costs to run. Written for the person who is not me.

Your data, where it already lives. The worker reads what it needs and writes only where you said it could. Nothing is copied into a training set. Nothing is held hostage.

What is holding your business back?

You do not need an AI strategy or a technical specification to begin. You need a problem worth solving—a recurring bottleneck, a process your team has outgrown, or an opportunity your current tools cannot support.
